Every single product in the Sorted Skin range is designed first and foremost for sensitive skin on the face, body and intimate areas. Each of our ranges have its own unique blend of natural essential oils and extracts that are developed to target a specific skin problem.

All products have been dermatologically tested, however we do suggest that people with sensitivity perform a skin patch test with any topical product before use.

All of the products are formulated and produced in the UK using the finest prebiotic ingredients. Sorted Skin is committed to using environmentally-friendly and sustainable processes, materials, ingredients and packaging, wherever and whenever possible.

The microbiome is the skin’s natural protective layer of good bacteria that lives on the skin’s surface - the skin’s first line of defence. However, when good bacteria is found to be lacking, this throws the system out of balance, which can lead to a flare-up of common skin complaints, such as rosacea, eczema, acne and even intimate skin problems like thrush.

Prebiotic ingredients stimulate growth by selectively feeding the pre-existing good bacteria within the skin’s microbiome. This outcompetes and wipes out any bad bacteria, ultimately creating an equilibrium within the skin.

Probiotics are living strains of bacteria that add to the population of good bacteria. However this can often shorten the shelf-life of a product.

We only use prebiotics in our range.

Our products have not been tested for use on infants and children. However, we are working on a range of skincare products specifically for babies and children to be launched later in 2022.

Although Sorted Skin has been specifically formulated for sensitive skin, which can often be experienced or heightened during pregnancy, products have not specifically been tested on expectant women, However, our products do not contain any ingredients known to be unsafe or cause reactions during pregnancy.
